Safe to say, it’s the bag of the moment – if not the entire year.

The new style made its debut back in February, during Jonathan Anderson’s SS26 show at Paris Fashion Week. It takes its name and shape from the famous La Cigale gown, as created by Christian Dior for the AW52/53 haute couture collection. It’s a dress that Anderson describes as: “my all-time favourite dress in the history of fashion”. No wonder he used it as the blueprint for the handbag.
