英国のオークションハウス、ケリー・テイラー・オークションズ（Kerry Taylor Auctions）が、ヴィンテージファッション専門ディーラー「ドットコム（dot COMME）」が所蔵する「コム デ ギャルソン（COMME des GARÇONS）」のコレクションを一堂に集めたオークションを、イギリス・ロンドンで、現地時間9月15日午前10時に開催する。
ドットコムは、日本のファッションを専門とするヴィンテージディーラー。創設者のオクタヴィアス・ラ・ローザ（Octavius La Rosa）は17年以上にわたりコム デ ギャルソンを収集しており、約4000点のアーカイヴを保有する。今秋には全アーカイヴをメルボルンからパリへ移転する予定で、今回のオークションでは新たな買い付けのためのスペース確保などを目的に、コレクションの一部を手放す。
出品数は265ロットで、1970年代のブランド黎明期から、1980年代にパリで発表した初期コレクション、1990年代から2000年代の革新的なデザイン、2010年代の作品まで幅広く網羅。これまで同店のウェブサイトで販売したことのない作品が初めて市場に登場する。
出品作品には、1970年代の希少な初期作品18ロットをはじめ、1981-82年秋冬の「Pirates」、1982-83年秋冬の「Holes」、1983-84年秋冬の「Gloves, Skirts, Quilted Big Coats」、1984年春夏の「Round Rubber」、1986年春夏の「Bias Cutting」など、初期のアイコニックなコレクションが並ぶ。
1990年代以降の作品も充実し、「Flowering Clothes」「Body Meets Dress – Dress Meets Body」「Transformed Glamour」「Broken Bride」などのコレクションを用意。渡辺淳弥による「ジュンヤ ワタナベ（JUNYA WATANABE）」の作品もラインアップする。また、ウィメンズ作品のほか、1983年から2013年までのメンズウェア16ロットも出品する。
主な作品の落札予想価格は、1984年春夏「Round Rubber」のブラックコットンローブと、1983-84年秋冬「Gloves, Skirts, Quilted Big Coats」のグレーウールドレスで、それぞれ2000～3000ポンド（約43万〜64万円）。
