川久保玲が手がけるComme Des Garcon Shirtより2018年秋冬コレクションが公開された。今作にはJean Michel Basquiat(ジャン・ミシェル・バスキア)の作品が落とし込まれたアイテムが多々登場。バスキアといえばNYCブルックリン出身のアーティストでアンディ・ウォーホルと作品を発表するなど注目を集めるが、ウォーホルの死後、孤独を強め、薬物のオーバードースにより27歳で他界した。Supremeは2013AWにてバスキアの作品を商品に落とし込み、ZOZO TOWNの前澤氏は、バスキアの作品を63億で購入するなど今なお色褪せないアーティストだ。秋冬ながらもPopなカラーに仕上がったCDGの最新作を下記からご覧頂きたい。
