元GivenchyのデザイナーRiccardo Tisci(リカルド・ティッシ)やOff WhiteのデザイナーVirgil Abloh(ヴァージル・アブロ)がVersace(ベルサーチ)の次のクリエイティブディレクターになるのではと噂されていた。しかし、WWDによると現Louis VuittonのアーティスティックデザイナーKim Jones(キム・ジョーンズ)が2011年から続いているLVとの契約から抜けられれば、就任する可能性があるとのことだ。この件についてLouis Vuitton、Versace共にコメントは控えている。
9月に噂されていたようにKim JonesはLouis Vuittonを2018年秋冬のショーの後離れるようだ。(1/17更新)
While Givenchy’s former creative director, Riccardo Tisci and Off White’s Virgil Abloh were rumored to be considered as the next creative director of Versace. But according to WWD Louis Vuitton men’s artistic director Kim Jones might be next creative director of Versace. Louis Vuitton and Versace have declined to comment on the matter.
