イギリスのポスト・ポップバンドThe xx(ジ・エックス・エックス)とBEAMS(ビームス)の来日記念コラボアイテムが、2017/1/20(土)にBEAMS公式オンライン、BEAMS原宿店、BEAMS STREET梅田店で発売予定です。2005年にイギリスのロンドンで結成されたThe xxは、2017年1月に発売された通算3枚目のアルバム「I See You」で全英チャート1位、全米チャート2位を獲得した注目のポップバンドです。2018年2月に東京と大阪で単独来日公演が開催予定です。The xxを象徴するブラックカラーに日本を象徴する桜がプリントまたは刺繍されたロングスリーブTシャツ、パーカー、デニムシャツ、コーチジャケット、キャップ、ソックスが発売予定です。
