Named after a real lifeguard tower in Los Angeles, Amy Liu set out on a mission to create high-performance makeup that accommodates all skin types, especially sensitive ones. The result? Following suit is Fara Homidi Beauty, as her namesake slow beauty label has landed in the UK. Afghanistan-born, New York-based Homidi has been whipping out her makeup brush on fashion runways for over two decades now – working with the likes of Chloé, Miu Miu, Hermes, and Coperni, her climb into the industry is no easy feat to follow. Since then, the MUA stepped away from the editorial side of things, bringing her 25 years of makeup experience to a new level, with her eponymous beauty brand.
