Copacabana meets the catwalk, with six bold styles fusing both brands’ signatures in one fierce lineup. Furry thongs, rubber soles dipped in animal print, and the classic slim shape elevated (literally) with flatform heights. With the first collection selling out in 24 hours, it’s safe to say the hype is real. So if you’re looking to step up your beach game this summer, don’t sleep on this one.

All roads lead to Florence for Gucci’s Cruise 2026

This Week’s Fashion Mash Up

Gucci has gone home, reconnecting with its creative roots for a rebirth. For Cruise 2026, the Italian Maison returned to its place of origin — Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance — drawing from the city’s eternal spring to build a collection that looks forward while honouring the past. And if anywhere serves as Gucci’s time machine, it’s the 15th-century Palazzo Settimanni, home to the Gucci Archive — a living, breathing space where past, present and future collide. The show was a celebration in high volume, with fur and loud textures taking centre stage. Accessories, drenched in the House’s iconic emblems, marked a full-circle moment: monogrammed canvas, buckled belts and heritage-soaked shoes grounding the collection in legacy. Elsewhere, elongated tailoring, late-2000s indie sleaze nods, and flashes of ’70s bohemian flair teased out the archive’s greatest hits. Was Demna in the group chat? Unclear — but the message came through loud and clear.

If you would class yourself as a trinket girl (maybe you’re still swooning over the Labubu craze, with Sandy Liang and Simone Rocha on your holy grail wishlist), if you find yourself meandering in a nook of Milan anytime soon, then get yourself to PAN Milano for a cuteness extravaganza. Celebrating 50 years of Hello Kitty, GCDS has partnered with Sanrio, bringing the plushies into pastry form. Washed in pastel icing, dusted on Matcha lattes, and stamped on Japanese milk bread, it’s the ultimate excuse to bag yourself an oh-so cute sweet treat, that tastes just as good as it Instagrams. Alongside the tasty collaboration, the partnership are joining hands to create a Spring Summer capsule collection, featuring tees, baseball caps, and crochet bikinis.

UNDERCOVER has become a pivotal instrument in Japan’s fashion history, after humble beginnings on the streets of Tokyo’s Harajuku, Jun Takashi, the label’s founder, has been busy questioning the nature of fashion since 1990, through his otherworldly designs. After a flurry of collaborations with Margiela, Helmut Lang, and Alaïa, Takashi has now tapped Olu Odukoya, founder of Modern Matter – the bi-annual luxury bookzine publisher – as his next partner. Together, the duo have revisited Modern Matter’s decade-long archive of misprints, as Takashi, in collage form, has reinterpreted the prints in his artistic lens. To accompany the collection, the pair have created a special edition zine: Modern Matter Q&A Chronicles, which takes a closer look at the goings on behind the project.
