From monochrome outfits to baby-blue fever, Copenhagen fashion week was brimming with inspo for your next Pinterest board, Depop purge, or clothing Wishlist. Lucky for you, we’ve found all of the pieces to help you on your journey to becoming a Danish it-girl.

If, like us, you’re still working out how to make your Winter wardrobe fashion-forward without catching a cold, or can’t seem to ever dress weather appropriately, then look no further than the cobbled streets of Copenhagen for inspiration. The Danish capital’s fashion week drew to a close on Friday, marking the official beginning of fashion month, and it certainly did not disappoint. Whilst the schedule looked a little quieter than usual – with hometown staples Ganni and Cecilie Bahnsen jet setting to Paris this season, and Saks Potts recently announcing its closure – the Danes still show no mercy when it comes to looking good in sub-zero temperatures.

It was a fun-filled season, packed with stylish layering, milkshake-hued colour palettes, statement coats (faux fur of course), and not to mention the Danes’ fluffy friend AKA the bonnet, which we saw in heap loads. Dominated by emerging designers: Forza Collective, Nicklas Skovgaard and A Roege Hove, the youngsters showed no mercy in the absence of Copenhagen’s staple labels, instilling the season with a much-needed fresh and innovative energy.

Decidedly taking inspiration from the recent craze of office core, The Copenhagen models strode onto the runway swathed in corporate gear: ties, blazers and button-up shirts took centre stage. Nonetheless, designers deconstructed and reconstructed the 9-5 uniform, as office wear entered catwalks in disfigured, reworked and manipulated formats – riffing off of the office siren aesthetic that’s taken over all of our TikTok FYP’s.

We could wax lyrical on the highlights of the week, so here are our top 6 takeaway trends from the Danish runway:

50 shades of baby-blue

There must be something in the air: perhaps it’s seasonal depression, maybe designers are dreaming of spring’s blue skies, or maybe the Danes are just feeling blue, because it stole the spotlight this season. Baby blue tights, cerulean slip dresses, blue was everywhere and we can’t get enough of it!

9-5 but make it fashion

This one’s for our corporate baddies, Copenhagen was drenched in reconfigured ties, mangled button-ups, warped collars and oversized blazer suits. OperaSPORT’s AW25 runway saw satin button-ups sit on top of matching ruched skirts, teaming with cardigans and dapper shirts. Shop one of these office staples and you’ll certainly bag yourself a promotion in your next boardroom meeting.

We all know the Danes do layering like no other, but they also kept it 100 this season, that is, 100% sheer. A Roege Hove stripped it back with its mesh knitted tanks, pairing them with thin scarves and striped skirts, whilst emerging label Bonnetje showcased its mesh maxi dress with nothing but a small black panty. Who needs lipstick when you have a liner?

Anyone got a lippy we can borrow? No, we’re not talking about lipstick, lip liner will do the trick just fine! Copenhagen left lipstick at the door for AW25, pairing their garms with a dark lip liner, blended into the natural lip.

Head-to-toe denim

Monochrome outfits seem to be a hometown hero in Copenhagen, and this season was no different. Landing on denim as their latest victim, models were drenched in the fabric: OperaSPORT opted for a denim co-ord mimicking the silhouette of a suit, whereas Cmmn Swdn harked to the 70s’ for its denim two-piece as it elongated its lapels in a dark denim wash, teaming it with a jumbo-sized fluffy hat. The best part about this trend? It’s so easy to recreate, choose from one of these denim essentials here.

It’s easy to put on, adds a stylish flair to any outfit, and won’t leave you with a severe case of hat hair when you take it off!
