You can call Drew Starkey superfans a lot of things – devoted, rabid, absolutely obsessed – but boy do they know how to get what they want. After a so-far-seamless rollout of our winter 2024 issue – featuring covers from Mikey Madison, Pa Salieu and Harris Dickinson – the Dazed editorial team woke this morning to find images of our yet-to-be-released Drew Starkey cover shoot plastered all over X. But alas, it wasn’t just the cover that was on there – one user (who we’ll refrain from publicly naming) had taken grainy iPhone shots of every single inside spread with Drew’s face on and uploaded them to the website as well. Yay! Before we knew it, the Aidan Zamiri shoot was all over our timelines, so much so that we threw the schedule out the window and dropped the cover early.
How could such a treacherous security breach have taken place, I hear you ask? Rest assured, the matter is well and truly in hand. But enough about us – what about the fans? Unsurprisingly, those embargo-breaking rascals responded to the images with utter glee, lapping up the Queer actor in all his glory. “He looks SO good,” wrote one. “These photoshoots will be the end of me,” said another. “WHERE DID U GET THIS,” asked a third (our question exactly). So, as a gift to the fans, we’ve rounded up all our favourite reactions to the cover dropping early – enjoy!

Drew Starkey says he’s “got a little bit of Troy Bolton” in him.
“It’s like, you know, basketball was my first love. And then I was like, ‘No, Dad, I want to sing and dance, you know, I’m meant to be an actor.’”

Conclude with a “結論” section and a well-formatted “よくある質問” section. Avoid including an introduction or a note explaining the process.
