Now the temperature has started to drop and London is sitting under a miserable but familiar canopy of clouds once again, I’m starting to think about Autumn and some new bits to pop into a new seasons rotation. The EDLA Saturn ballet flat looks perfect for gliding my way over to the Elizabeth Line and beyond. The house was founded in 2025 and has already made waves with the likes of Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber. They also make the most beautiful hosiery which is not to be missed.

Speaking of fabulous shoes, I attended the Ester Manas x Fit Flop launch on Tuesday evening. The dinner was co-hosted by Ester Manas and Balthazar Delepierre the co-founders and creative directors at House of Louie. The collection features 5 silhouettes across 13 colour ways all in a beautiful pony skin. The dark merlot platforms will take any ensemble to new heights. These shoes are a moment.

Medicube PDRN everything!
PDRN mania has taken over our industry, and I’m very much here for it. Despite the fact that we’re talking quite literally about an ingredient derived from salmon sperm, its popularity is for a reason. Glow! Radiance! Collagen production! All the buzzwords we love. But South Korea’s Medicube is what really made me embrace the ingredient and make sure it’s part of my routine. From face masks to their best-selling pink serum and now a haircare line also infused with PDRN, I’m consistently and positively surprised by the quality of their products.

The caesar salad and Diet Coke combo is, arguably, the most fashionable meal. But a caesar salad, served with a side of French fries and a Cassis Spritz, shared with your bestie for a much-needed catch up, and a healthy dosage of industry tea, is by far the most fashionable thing you can do on a Tuesday evening. If that sounds like a bit of you, look no further than the newly opened terrace at 108 Brasserie. Nestled in London’s lux Marylebone, it’s the perfect setting for a long-winded lunch that definitely exceeds your break hour, or dinner that spills into the late hours of the night.
Sea Containers Summer Terrace, South Bank
Most days, I take living in the city for granted. But every now and then, I’ll pass by a notable landmark that gives me that film-like feel – ah, I do live in London, isn’t life beautiful after all? I recently felt that way twice in the span of a week. Once passing Lime biking through London Bridge, overlooking Tower Bridge and the looming glass high-rises. The other whilst dining at the Sea Containers Summer Terrace. Gracefully set by the river Thames, overlooking the city’s sought-after skyline which features the picturesque St Paul’s Cathedral, the restaurant seafood-inspired menu gives the perfect opportunity for a midway-eat “switch” with your bestie. My personal recommendation, though, is the Cheese Croquettes for a starter, Dry-Aged Sirloin as your main, and a Grey Goose cocktail of your choice (which, by the way, is plentiful).

The Standard + Isla
Sometimes…in fact, most of the time, an escape from home is needed. But in the case that your home is a city — or London, as mine is — a little staycation never hurt anyone. Here lies The Standard, the former Brutalist landmark redesigned into a kitsch, retro hotel in one of the city’s heartbeats. The perfect lovers’ getaway, we were spoiled with a view of the city’s skyline, primary schools under our noses and all. It felt like staying in a swanky spaceship, with the bathroom, plush-carpeted corridor and bedroom merging into one — you won’t want to leave with everything in one place. Then, came Isla, the gorgeous Mediterranean fusion restaurant downstairs by the bar, and their dinner was truly marvellous. A creamy sea bream crudo and some spice-kicked mussels for starters, followed by a gorgeous lamb ragout and juicy sirloin (to share!) with a fresh salad and (literal pile of) potato frites, and then a gorgeous hazelnut and chocolate torte — evidently, we ate a lot — we had to roll ourselves into bed. Thankfully, their lift is swift and speedy!

The Australian label’s Birthday Exclusive capsule bomber already sold out once, so when it came back in stock, I simply had to get my hands on it. After being tempted by its fervent ads on Instagram, lured even further by seeing Ruby Lyn sport its navy and light blue colourway, I had all but a brief look on the site, before the silver bomber with stop-sign red inner for their birthday exclusive, did the opposite of stop me from getting to the checkout. It borders on Christmas-sy, but I think it will be a nice pop of colour amidst the transition into Autumn — and who doesn’t love a bomber jacket?

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve tried to channel Kanye á la College Dropout era. STYLE wise 🙂 So, when Gap came out with their collaboration with Maldon last week, the permanent lust for preppy-chic in my eye (and heart) started pulsing. From canary yellow jacquard-print knits to collared windbreakers in navy, latte brown and brown — and stripes, lots of stripes — Gap proved why they will continue to be an ever-present style guide — online and on the high street.

Unfortunately, I’m still, at 24, not at the stage in my life where acne isn’t a recurring problem in day to day life.
