Zuma & Hoppers

If you’re craving a marinated slice of Japan but can’t quite justify the airfare yet, head to Zuma for an artisanal take on the country’s signature izakayas. The scallop skewers with ume boshi, shishito, and mentaiko, alongside the melt-in-your-mouth chu-toro nigiri, were personal favourites, washed down with a crisp glass from their selection of over 40 premium sakes, and you’re onto a winner. From the heart of Knightsbridge, drift over to the Tea Building in Shoreditch, where Hoppers’ fourth London location immerses you in a different culinary rhythm. Blending South Indian flavours with the Sri Lankan notes that have made the restaurant a food-lover’s staple, the new menu showcases a collection of dishes and cocktails, inspired by years of travel, research, and late nights across the region. Book before it’s too late.

A YMC x CBK Love Story

YMC nails trend-less pieces you’ll wear for years. This season, their just-landed “Like A” barrel-leg suit – in stone or black, crafted from a Japanese cotton blend with an oversized button-down blazer – channels the understated allure of Carolyn Bessette for the 21st century. I know exactly where my next paycheck is going…

Twin Peaks

Everything comes back around, and for me, that revival arrives in the Lynchian form of Twin Peaks. The ‘90s cult series follows FBI Agent Dale Cooper as he investigates the brutal murder of Laura Palmer, with a surrealistic twist at every turn. If it isn’t broke…

In my Inspector Gadget of skincare era

For an editor who’s been in the beauty game this long, it’s almost impressive that it’s taken me this much time to hop on the skin-gadget bandwagon. But now that I have, I’m fully committed. It all started during an interview with the brain that is Dr Barbara Sturm. We were discussing her new Peptide Serum (another must), when she told me that I should get on the red light therapy buzz. And who am I to say no? Two weeks later, and I’m practically living (not quite, but for a couple of minutes in the morning) in my CurrentBody Skin LED Red Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2.

Another gadget I’ve woven into my routine is the Medicube Age-R Booster Pro Pink – essentially a real-life magic wand disguised as a multi-purpose treatment device, with four targeted functions ranging from microcurrent to electroporation. It might be too early to say the results are already visible, but I’ve been getting more compliments than ever on the quality and luminosity of my skin, and my cheeks are feeling decidedly #plumped. I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, I’m also enjoying the small pockets of pause these rituals carve into my day.

Destin de Balmain

I speak so highly about Balmain’s fragrances that I sometimes worry it sounds like I’m PR-maxxing. But it’s true, I don’t think any fashion house is doing perfume quite like them right now. A large part of that legacy sits with Olivier Rousteing, who spent some of his later years at the helm of the maison studying perfumery, reimagining some of the house’s iconic scents while expanding the fragrance family into entirely new olfactory territory. And oh my, did it work.

From the first wave of launches came Carbone – perhaps my favourite fragrance in my collection right now. And last month, the house unveiled Destin de Balmain, another undeniable hit. Inspired by the Parisian maison’s savoir-faire, it’s built on a surprisingly intriguing scent bed of strawberries, spicy pepper and peonies. Unlike anything I’ve tried before – a definition thread across the brand’s menu, btw – and definitely one to keep on your radar for spring. Think late-evening drinks on warm nights, sweaty skin smudged in glitter and a smokey eye, bottled.

Crisp Pizza

I’ve finally made it to one of London’s most hyped spots and can confirm: there is pizza in the world worth waiting three weeks for a reservation. Crisp Pizza W6’s new central London outpost makes the pilgrimage far kinder to East Enders – and, conveniently, it’s a five-minute walk from Wonderland’s Soho offices. Tucked beneath a Mayfair pub, you’ll find what might just be the perfect bite. The base is so thin it’s almost sharp – crisp (as promised), cheesy, perfectly oiled and dangerously moreish. I went with company harder to impress than the Queen herself and watched him land a 9/10 approval rate across the menu. Trust me, that’s about as high as it gets.

DeMellier Stockholm Bag

This is the new It-girl city bag. Plump in three different sizes, you’ll be stuck for a while choosing which one to pick. For the working girls who live out of their day bag, I suggest the (largest) Stockholm bag — a moment for the Dark Chocolate Suede please. With multiple compartments, including a hidden pocket for those too-good-secret-bits, a soft-curved silhouette, and a sturdy base, it’s a staple — a sophisticated, modern-day twist on the bowling bag. And dare I say, this feels very CBK…

The new Arsenal app

Calling all Gunners! With the end of season nearing sight, our boys still top of the league and the women putting in shift after shift, what better than a revamped app to pull the community in together? There’s The Big Match, a dating show match-making Gunners far and wide, The Link Up, which sees Arsenal Men’s number 7 explore his creativity, leadership and life beyond the pitch, and Modern Leader, a close-up feature with the club’s captain, Martin Odegaard, about performance and leadership. If the Goonerverse wasn’t already tight-knit, this new digital home brings supporters that much closer.

Buzzballz Berry Cherry Limeade

These are the only blues entering our 2026 days. Buzzballz’ newest flavour packs a tangy punch in its Berry Cherry Limeade flavour. Packed to the BuzzBallz brim with a near-fluorescent blue liquor, it’s sweet and zesty, nostalgic like a blue raspberry lollipop or sour stripe. It’s a perfect end-of-work-week treat and a boost to any good time!

Jaded London Odile Brown Faux Leather Lace Up Corset

I tried to wear this to lost club but they didn’t let me in – or rather we couldn’t get in because the line was too long. Nonetheless, I did get a few winks…whether it was because they could see through the eyelets of my top, I don’t know but I felt SEXY, and if you want to as well, I recommend 😉

Dr Rasha Clinic

I’m currently obsessed with the Sofwave facial I had with Dr Sara at Dr Rasha Clinic in Knightsbridge (and the award-winning innovative clinic itself, which is also known for advanced facial lasers like BBL and Moxi). After trying my fair share of anti-ageing facials since entering my thirties, this is GENUINELY the first time I’ve seen instant results — the kind that makes you text your friends immediately afterwards telling them to also book in. My skin looked lifted, tighter and noticeably brighter, and apparently the results continue to improve over the next six months. The FDA-cleared treatment uses next-generation ultrasound technology to stimulate collagen, softening fine lines and tightening skin with zero downtime — the kind of treatment you could easily fit into a lunch break. Dr Sara is incredibly knowledgeable and takes a conservative approach to results. She’s also really warm — it felt like catching up with a very well-informed friend who just happens to know exactly how to make your skin look incredible, which somehow made the sort of painful treatment pass far quicker and more comfortably than expected.

Saint Laurent Loafers

I’m currently eyeing up a pair of classic Saint Laurent loafers and already planning how to justify the purchase — mainly by telling myself they’re practical. Comfortable and perfect for London life, I’m looking forward to pairing them with my everyday outfits as an easy way to elevate my really simple looks for Spring/Summer in London.

Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polish

A product I’m loving at the moment is the iconic lip gloss from Buxom Cosmetics, which you could buy on Revolve and Sephora. I’m incredibly picky with glosses — so many end up sticky, oily, drying, or leave that horrible line on your lips (iykyk) — but this one doesn’t! The formula gives a cooling, subtly plumping sensation while still feeling hydrating and comfortable and it stays throughout meals. It has been the only product I’ve worn on my lips for the last 7 years (apart from the occasional Rhode). I think I own almost every shade at this point because they are that good!

Put your headphones on!

My headphones have been on death’s door for weeks after I stood on, crushed and then continued to slide on them headfirst into my bedroom door. Their dramatic exit had perfect timing as Sony recently launched their WH-1000XM6 headphones and with it a collab with Chopova Lowena (a firm fave) who have created a bespoke headphone charm for the carry case. Cannot wait to get my hands on them.
