20 years ago, a humble, high fashion marketplace opened its doors to the curious public. Located in London’s Mayfair on a small road called Dover Street, the shop flipped retail on its head, and, founded by Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe, promised a new kind of shopping experience fusing art, fashion and culture. It’s 2024 now, and Dover Street Market – the multi-brand retailer we all know and deeply adore – is celebrating its platinum anniversary. Dubbing the celebrations The Power Of Twenty by Rei Kawakubo, DSM is coming in hot with an array of collaborations, dedicated products and must-see installations landing in-store and on the DSML E-SHOP from this week, in addition to the Nike x DSM Vomero 5 and Stone Island x DSM offerings which launched November and December respectively. Here, we delve into 10 of the best releases up for grabs. Here’s to 20 more DSM! Emily Phillips

2. Dukes Cupboard presents ‘Business as Usual‘
London-based creatives Ned Membery and Milo Harley founded the designer sportswear label Dukes Cupboard over a decade ago, and since then they’ve stolen the hearts of all skater boys within a 500-mile radius. Now, the streetwear label is unveiling a new project named, Business as Usual, and the swanky new coffee table zine is filled with funky graphics, collage-style pictures and handwritten doodles. It has certainly got us working 9-5 to try and get our hands on a copy. Freya Goodchild-Bridge
3. Barbour’s Re-Loved x NOAH
Barbour’s ongoing Re-Loved initiative – which has been creating limited-edition capsules of its refurbished wax jackets since 2019 – is reuniting with fellow Re-Loved collaborator Noah to celebrate DSM’s special occasion. The New York-based menswear brand is re-energising Barbour’s jackets with a new lease of life, boasting Noah’s affinity for surfing culture – patchwork-style boats appear on the front and back of the jackets; peeking through in the lining too. 4. Cav Empt
Tokyo-born streetwear label Cav Empt has gotten in on the DSM action, as it’s presenting a series of elevated basics to feature alongside the anniversary. 6. LOOK GOOD, FEEL GOOD, PLAY GOOD: NIKE APPAREL
Nike is retracing the legacy of women’s sportswear over the past 50 years in its new book: Look Good, Feel Good, Play Good: Nike Apparel. Published by Phaidon, and created by London-based Maisie Skidmore – who captures the energy of Nike’s clothing and its influence within the wider sports world – explores the spaces in which Nike’s sportswear performs, exercises and lives. It is available from December 10 in stores and on the DSML E-shop. FGB

9. Pet Shop Boys ceramic tea set
Calling all West End girls! Get yourselves to the DSM store for some high tea with the Pet Shop Boys. Well, not exactly with the synth-pop duo, but the pair are presenting a special ceramic tea set to celebrate 40 years since their debut single launched. The band, consisting of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, worked in tandem with longstanding partners Farrow, Tennant and Lowe for the tea set. Including cups, saucers, milk jug, sugar bowl and a teapot, the Pet Shop Boys have your Earl Grey addiction covered.
10. DSM’s celebratory chain necklace
What says 20 years of DSM more than a heavy-duty gold chain, with a big pendant attached to it, that literally says “20 years at Dover Street Market”? If that wasn’t enough to sell you, we don’t know what will. With its availability limited to in-store purchases, padlocks dot themselves around the golden necklace, as a jumbo pendant dons the 20 Years DSM slogan. FGB
