Lindsay, who is currently going through her own divorce from former Bachelorette contestant Bryan Abasolo after four years of marriage, opened up about the matter and the public pressure she experienced.
“You feel the public pressure to always let people know that everything’s great, even though behind closed doors that might not be the case, or that you’re working on it or that you’re having a bad day or whatever it may be. A lot of that is wrapped up in shame. You don’t wanna say that it failed. You’re scared for people to see you in a different way,” she said.
The Sister Act star’s three marriages each ended in divorce. Per People, Goldberg’s marriage to her first husband, Alvin Martin, ended in 1979. She and Martin share a 49-year-old daughter, Alexandrea.
Goldberg then married cinematographer David Claessen in 1986 before splitting two years later. Her last marriage was to Lyle Trachtenberg in 1994 before calling it quits following year.
