Brand: BAPE x Highsnobiety

Buy: On the Highsnobiety iOS app and online from the Highsnobiety Shop.

Release Date: September 27.

Editor’s notes: First introduced in the early 2000s, the STA logo is one of many pieces of iconography synonymous with BAPE. The shooting star graphic has stuck with the brand ever since its first-ever BAPE STA sneaker release, and our collaboration focuses on it.

Linking up for our fourth collection with the streetwear OG, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, the latest BAPE x Highsnobiety release is a full 19-piece drop.

Utilizing three major color tones (ivory, beige, and charcoal), the collection offers a matching uniform all the way up from co-branded baseball caps down to limited-edition sneakers.

The collection includes a collaborative BAPE STA, the first product to bear the shooting star logo all the way back in the early 2000s.

The co-branded sneaker is decked out in neutral-hued leather with a contrasting, textured caviar leather STA logo running along the sides of the upper. Further detailing on the limited-edition shoe includes an APE HEAD lace charm and double heel tab.

Also launching is a new take on the streetwear label’s ROAD STA Express sneaker, a lifestyle shoe inspired by classic running footwear. The shoe comes with hairy suede panels which are contrasted by chunky mesh on the upper. Meanwhile, the sole unit has a sturdy Vibram outsole for extra grip.

Designed to complement the sneakers, the apparel in this collection comes in matching hues for easy pairing.

This includes a classic varsity jacket with co-branded detailing embroidered throughout along with a full sweatsuit comprised of sweatpants, hoodies, and sweatshirts. Rounding off the drop is a range of T-shirts and baseball caps that also include the STA logo alongside Highsnobiety branding.

The collection will be released globally on September 27, via the Highsnobiety iOS app and Highsnobiety Shop as well as at BAPE stores.
