北京を拠点に活動するデザイナーXander Zhouが手掛けるXander Zhou 2019春夏コレクションがロンドンファッションウィークにて公開された。未来の私のヴィジョンとザンダーが語った同コレクションは、エイリアンや人口腹を持つ男性、クローンなどが登場。コレクションには、体にフィットするインナーやパンツ、アシンメトリーのジャケット、プロテクター付きパンツなどに加えて、近未来風のフォントで作られたロゴが刻まれたアイテムなどが展開された。また、コレクションにはNike React Element87も登場している。メタリックやシースルーなどを使用せずに未来を表現したという彼のコレクションを下記からご覧頂きたい。
Xander Zhou has unveiled his 2019 spring summer collection at London Fashion Week. He mentioned that It’s my vision of the future. I wasn’t designing based on fashion elements, that’s not the right world for me. Instead I tried to create the collection as a movie, a story of my own and build each model as a character,” mused the designer backstage, pointing to the aliens, clones and men bearing prosthetic bellies who walked down his runway. This collection includes asymmetry jacket, manteau,trousers capped with protective knee pads, futuristic inner,jacket and more. We can also see Nike’s rest elements 87.
