Lebron JamesがNBA Finalの練習日にChinatown Marketが制作した1/1 Converseを着用。China Town Marketは、NYCチャイナタウンに面するキャナルストリートから着想を得たブランドだ。キャナルストリートは、パロディやブートレグなどのお土産を扱う売店が並ぶ通りで、面白いデザインのアイテムをたくさん見ることができる場所だ。China Town Marketは、ありそうでなかったデザインやどこかで見かけたことのあるデザインをうまくサンプリング。そのデザインの面白さから有名アーティストやストリートのアイコンなどからも人気を集めている。このスニーカーの販売は今の所ないと考えられている。
Lebron James spotted with 1of 1 bootleg converse chuck taylor which designed by Chinatown market. It features Chuck taylor with swoosh and Chinatown market’s signature smiley logo on side. China Town Market become popular shortly because of their unique design and idea. They are inspired by Canal St in NYC. Canal St run through Chinatown and there are lot of stores which have unique bootleg and parody items. They might not release this bootleg. But stay tuned for more updates.
