Adidas Originals has joined forces with the viral Swedish fashion label AVAVAV for the release of their first collection.
As previewed during AVAVAV’s 2025 Spring/Summer runway show during Milan Fashion Week in September, the inaugural capsule from the two entities serves as a cheeky blend between fashion and sports, specifically track and field.
The AVAVAV x Adidas collection includes a reimagined version of the classic Superstar ($250), featuring the fashion label’s four-finger motif attached to the forefoot. As for the apparel, the range includes tracksuits, puffer jackets, and various accessories.
“It has been a long-time dream of mine to partner with Adidas Originals. I’m honored and beyond happy to have the opportunity to play around with their incredibly strong DNA—it’s so much fun,” AVAVAV creative director, Beate Skonare Karlsson, said. “From the beginning of our partnership, I was encouraged to ‘make fun’ of Adidas. There’s so much irony in how seriously we take both sports and fashion and exploring that while maintaining a serious attitude has been incredibly fun.”
Readers will be able to get their hands on the pieces from the AVAVAV x Adidas collection starting on Nov. 21 via Confirmed and at select Adidas retailers.
