Zendaya doesn’t feel pressure when boyfriend Tom Holland is her acting partner.

The two-time Emmy winner, who covers the latest issue of Vanity Fair with Hollywood entertainers Glen Powell, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, and Dev Patel among others, was asked if it’s ever “weird” acting alongside her boyfriend of roughly three years.

“Not really. It’s actually strangely comfortable. It’s like second nature, if anything,” the 28-year-old told the publication. “You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him.”

The two have starred together in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home as part of the Marvel franchise.

Zendaya continued, “He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things 1,000 percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.”

Back in April, Zendaya was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when she hinted that she and Holland may have began dating as far back as 2016, around when Homecoming was filmed. At the time, the now-couple were late to a spin class with Zendaya’s mother when the trio almost got a speeding ticket.

“I was not going to do the spin class, he was going to do the spin class. Cause I don’t do that… But, we were going a little fast, we were running late,” Zendaya said around the 10-minute mark of the video below. “And they recognized that he was Spider-Man and, uh, we were fine. We got our warning and everything was OK.”

Holland has spoken about rewatching Homecoming with Zendaya to “reminisce” about how they met.

“Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again,” he told Extra earlier this year. “I love those movies, and I love savoring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special. It’s such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth.”

As part of the Vanity Fair package, Zendaya also gushed about another man in her life: her 9-year-old dog Noon.
