ASICS SportStyle’s new NEOCURVETM sneaker is a stride towards a more sustainable future, crafted from repurposed deadstock, defective shoes, and reclaimed materials. Available exclusively in Europe, this eco-conscious sneaker is manufactured entirely from locally sourced, recycled components, redefining the idea of ‘new’ through innovative design.

ASICS, long dedicated to the connection between sport and mental well-being, is expanding its philosophy to include a healthier planet. With the NEOCURVETM, they merge their storied athletic heritage with forward-thinking sustainability, preserving ASICS’ core values while pushing toward eco-friendly practices.

Dutch design house Studio Hagel collaborated with ASICS to bring the NEOCURVETM’s sleek silhouette to life. Creative Director Mathieu Hagelaars explains that the design draws from ASICS’ archives, blending modern aesthetics with nostalgic touches. The sneaker’s metallic finishes, wave-inspired form, and nods to early 2000s techwear create a unique look that’s both stylish and sustainable. “We wanted something that could push ASICS’ boundaries while staying true to its core,” Hagelaars says. The NEOCURVETM strikes this balance, marrying athletic form with eco-innovation.

To make this vision a reality, ASICS teamed up with Fast Feet Grinded, a leader in footwear recycling. The process starts with discarded shoes being carefully broken down into usable parts through advanced disassembly techniques. “Our aim was to show that what would typically be waste can become a high-quality resource,” shares Hidetoshi Muraoka, ASICS’ Head of Circular Economy projects.

The entire production process, from recycling to final assembly, takes place in Europe, reducing emissions associated with global supply chains. Priced at €250, the NEOCURVETM is available through ASICS’ online store and select European retailers.

Conclude with a “結論” section and a well-formatted “よくある質問” section. Avoid including an introduction or a note explaining the process.
